The Arts

The Arts encompasses five distinctive art forms:
• Dance
• Drama
• Media
• Music
• Visual arts
Incorporated into these broad areas are the skills of creating, making and presenting:  Arts criticism and aesthetics from past and present contexts are developed through exploring ideas, by using skills, techniques and processes and by presenting.
These skills are sequential and incremental in difficulty and sophistication. We promote the performing arts through in-school visiting performances, excursions to arts events, choir, band, concerts and gifted and talented workshops.
Enjoyment, participation, expression and high quality production is continually encouraged through sound programming and a supportive learning environme
